Brochure Printing
Zoom Printing's brochure printing is available in full-color (2 sided). Our folded brochure printing sizes range from 8.5 x11 to 11"x 25.5. Brochures are a great way to reach consumers with a thorough and precise message that you are seeking to distribute for your business. A range of different printing sizes and folding options are available to help display your message properly.
Folding Options
- Double Parallel: The double parallel fold is a common folding style used for brochures. In this type of fold, the paper is folded in half vertically and then folded in half horizontally. As a result, the brochure is divided into four equal panels or sections. When fully unfolded, the panels lie parallel to each other, hence the name "double parallel." This fold allows for a compact size when folded, but provides ample space for content when unfolded.
- Half Fold: The half fold, also known as a single fold or center fold, is a simple folding technique where the paper is folded in half vertically, creating two equal panels. When unfolded, the brochure reveals the full content spread across the two panels. The half fold is a straightforward and commonly used folding style, making it easy to design and print brochures.
- Roll Fold: The roll fold, also referred to as a barrel fold or tri-fold, involves folding the paper in a series of consecutive folds. Typically, the paper is folded inward from one side to another, creating multiple panels that fold into one another. The roll fold divides the brochure into three panels of unequal width. When fully unfolded, the panels are revealed in a sequential order, similar to unrolling a scroll. This type of fold allows for a structured and organized presentation of content.
- Z Fold: The Z fold, also known as an accordion fold or zigzag fold, is characterized by a series of alternating folds that resemble the letter "Z" when viewed from the side. The paper is folded in a back-and-forth pattern, creating parallel panels that stack on top of each other. When fully unfolded, the brochure presents a continuous display of content. The Z fold provides a compact folded size and allows for easy navigation through the panels, making it suitable for brochures with a lot of information or step-by-step instructions.
Different Paper Type Options
- AQ Gloss: AQ Gloss stands for "Aqueous Gloss" and refers to a type of coating applied to the paper to enhance its appearance and durability. It is a water-based coating that provides a smooth, glossy finish to the brochure. AQ Gloss coating adds a layer of protection to the paper, making it resistant to smudging, fingerprints, and minor abrasions. This coating also enhances the colors and graphics, giving them a vibrant and polished look. AQ Gloss-coated paper is commonly used for brochures that require a glossy, professional finish.
- UV High Gloss: UV High Gloss refers to a type of coating known as "Ultraviolet Gloss." Unlike AQ Gloss, which is water-based, UV High Gloss coating is cured using ultraviolet light. This coating provides an even higher level of shine and reflectivity compared to AQ Gloss. UV coating creates a smooth, glass-like finish that gives brochures a premium and luxurious appearance. It offers excellent durability, scratch resistance, and protection against fading. UV High Gloss-coated paper is often used for brochures where a glossy and attention-grabbing finish is desired.
- Enviro: Enviro, short for "Environmentally Friendly," refers to a type of paper that is specifically designed to be eco-friendly and sustainable. Enviro paper is typically made from recycled materials, such as post-consumer waste or agricultural fibers. It is manufactured using environmentally responsible processes and may have certifications like FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative). Enviro paper often has a natural or textured finish, conveying a more rustic and earthy look. It is a suitable choice for brochures aimed at eco-conscious audiences or organizations that prioritize sustainability.
Choosing the right paper type for your brochure depends on factors such as the desired aesthetic, purpose, target audience, and environmental considerations. AQ Gloss and UV High Gloss offer a glossy and professional finish, while Enviro paper aligns with sustainability goals.
